Several members for the Houston Section attended the IEEE Region 5 conference
April 21-22. There are nine Region 5 awards and the Houston Section had representatives that won three of those awards.
Congratulations go out to the following:
- Outstanding Engineering Educator - John Glover UH
- Outstanding Student Branch - UH Cullen
- Outstanding Student Member - Shannon Westveer UH
Section Chair, Donald Dunn urges all
members of the Houston Section to reward other individuals and organizations for
their hard work.

The Regional Activities Board also presents the following awards annually:
- Section Membership Growth
- Student Branch Membership Growth
